Critical Manufacturing becomes a Microsoft GOLD Certified partner

October 21, 2010

Critical Manufacturing , the creator of the next generation Microsoft based Manufacturing Execution System (MES) cmNavigo, announced that it has achieved the Gold Certified Level in the Microsoft Partner Network, with competences as an Independent Software Vendor (ISV) and in Software Development.

Becoming a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner was a very natural step for Critical Manufacturing. Since its inception, our company has maximized the value-add of its solutions through an extraordinary knowledge both in advanced manufacturing environments and in state-of-the-art Microsoft technologies,” explains Francisco Almada-Lobo, Critical Manufacturing’s CEO. “Manufacturers in semiconductor, solar and electronics look for partners that can bridge the gap between their complex business requirements and technology capabilities. This achievement is another proof point that we are that partner.”

While the Software Development competency demonstrates the company’s ability to develop solutions that leverage Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 to create the best path from customer ideas to business impact, the Independent Software Vendor (ISV) competency recognizes the skill and focus in delivering innovative solutions to meet the customer needs.

The competencies achieved are quite complementary as they are part of our daily business of building and delivering cmNavigo MES System to our customers,” notes Adélio Fernandes, Critical Manufacturing’s VP for Technology. “The consistent usage of the latest Microsoft Technologies at all MES levels, from Microsoft SQL Server 2008 at database and analytics levels up to Microsoft Silverlight 4 in our unique Rich Internet Graphical User Interface, allows us to spend less time on infrastructure functionality and more time focusing on real value-added business applications.”

Critical Manufacturing is an enterprise founded from the established business of Critical Software and the inspiration and experience of a team of international renowned industry experts, that creates leading edge software solutions for the advanced manufacturing industries of solar, electronics and semiconductors. The company is part of Critical Group, a private group of companies founded in 1998 to provide solutions for mission and business critical information systems.
