Ulrich van der Meer is the new Advisory Board member of Critical Manufacturing

Oporto, November 30th, 2009 – Critical Manufacturing is honored to announce Mr. Ulrich van der Meer, as new member of the company’s Advisory Board.
Mr. van der Meer, Msc, Vice President, Hewlett-Packard, TSG Global Sales, joins the previously appointed members, Dr. José António Salcedo, Phd, CEO of Multiwave Photonics and Dr. Peter Kücher, Phd, Director of the Fraunhofer Center Nanoelectronic Technologies.
Uli van der Meer is a member of the Global Sales management team for "Industries and Corporate Accounts" in the HP Technology Solutions Group.
His responsibilities in recent years include the definition and execution of the global HP industry, go-to-market, and portfolio strategies for large international enterprise customers in the Manufacturing Industry sector. With customers in the "HighTech / Semiconductor" industries being of particular importance in this sector, he has built in-depth expertise of business needs, go-to-market strategies, and solution approaches in these industries.
Uli van der Meer joined HP in Germany in 1984 and has been a member of HP management teams for more than 20 years. He has held various international / global positions in corporate account and industry sales, marketing, alliance management, and consulting.
Mr. van der Meer earned a masters degree in Computer Sciences and Economics from the Technical University RWTH Aachen, Germany. After having lived and worked at HP headquarters in Palo Alto / California, for seven years, he is now based in Germany.
Critical Manufacturing is working to create an advisory board constituted by persons with life-time based know-how in the industry and key entrepreneurial experience in the target business markets, to promote Critical Manufacturing’s interests through strategic advisory of the executive management board.
