Critical Manufacturing unveils results of the funded QREN project

In order to disseminate the knowledge gained from the industrial research project QREN SI&IDT nr. 24710, called Scheduling, Critical Manufacturing hosted a public event for the dissemination of project results on March 25th, upon announcement done on February 28th.
Among customers, partners and scientific community (Universities and Research Institutes), more than 60 persons attended this public event, organized by Critical Manufacturing at TecMaia in Portugal.
The various sessions were presented by Critical Manufacturing (Francisco Almada Lobo, Augusto Vilarinho and João Cortez) and by INESC (Luis Guardão) and covered the main concepts of the advanced planning and scheduling solution. In particular, the main challenges and these have been surpassed have been presented, followed by a live demonstration and a very participative questions and answers session.
Beyond the wide dissemination of results, this event also served the purpose of leveraging the involvement of Critical Manufacturing with organizations related to the scientific community, where INESC TEC is a clear example of a healthy cooperation in research and development activities.
